East Tennessee Aquatic Alliance

East Tennessee Aquatic Alliance is a non-profit citizen coalition, working together to bring a new comprehensive aquatic center to our community and East Tennessee. The goal of the East Tennessee Aquatic Alliance is to:

Fall 2008

Currently, Johnson City Parks & Rec is exploring a replacement facility for Legion Street and Princeton Arts Center. This new facility may include a pool, but details are not yet defined. Until this initiative is more complete, progress on a new comprehensive, multi-purpose aquatic center has slowed. Nevertheless, our goal still remains to hire an independent pool consultant to perform a "feasibility study" to evaulate existing pool facilities and offer advice and guidance on designing a new aquatic center.
