Paddle For A Pool On May 11, 2007, East Tennessee Aquatic Alliance together with Barracuda Swim Club sponsored Paddle For A Pool, a swimathon-type event, where participants swim laps for contributions to the ETAA effort. Click here to view the news coverage of the event. The event was big success, raising several thousand dollars. Funds raised at the event will be used to support ETAA efforts, particularly the most immediate goal: hiring an independent pool consultant to offer advice and guidance for designing a comprehensive, multi-purpose aquatic center for our community and East Tennessee. |
